Diary of a Pathological Doodler

I started the week by applying some facilitation wisdom from my new favorite book on the topic, which led me to consider the difference between reading and doing. The world of feedback loops played itself out before my eyes during a morning run, while stories of inattentional blindness and flashbulb memories played in my ears via the audiobook 'The Invisible Gorilla'. An image from Sin City reminded me of my life, which went to the dogs by Sunday.
The small world phenomenon became a Strip of Life, through the always entertaining travel stories of Brahm.
Inspiring ideas in a few lines; Henry Jenkins on Transmedia, Mark Ridley on Globalized Prosperity, Noam Chomsky on Freedom of Expression and Rosabeth Moss Kanter on Kanter's Law.
An finally, the back-of-the-buiness-card project included a few doodles and observations about the odd semiotics of cartooning...

Snails, Racism, Boids and Bics

The weekend started with acts of snail crushing and subway racism.
I mind-feasted on an inspiring documentary (creative juice blast for the week) and doodle-pondered white shirts while imagining herds of boids.
After spending the afternoon with Mike Ford and Dan Yashinsky at a storytelling festival, I uncapped Tony's hair in a Strip of Life.
I then wielded my trusty ballpoint to continue the bic-on-back-of-the-business-card doodle series, as a few days of handing them out had depleted my inventory :) Cheers.
