Here's a few of my mental scribbles from the past week.
I was captivated by the movie Invictus, and immediately linked the theme of integration back to what we do for a living. I lamented the passing of the post-it as a lo-fi visualization technique after digging up my old dog eared copy of Leaves of Grass, and was struck by the elegance of a treeless knoll while running.
After having been blindsided by a project being more complex than I had imagined, I finished up a doodle for a TED x event and waxed poetic about peace.
I discovered that the Dracula persona was inspired by Walt Whitman, not Vlad the Impaler, and went on a little persona rant.
I started a wee blog called 'In a Few Lines' and featured Tony and Michelle from Capital C, along with a few other interesting people. The fewer the lines, the harder it gets, both copy and art :)
Strips of Life featured some Characters with a Capital C; creative director David Horovich talking about his homeless white whale, group account director Jenn Downton on becoming a Shiksa, and partner/strategist Livia Zufferli discussing man caves.
Happy May24 week.
